VILLANUEVA
 The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Bohol field office arrested on Friday a man tagged in a large-scale illegal recruitment of nurses and physical therapists for non-existent jobs in the United States.

Christopher Villanueva, 30 years old and a resident of
Poblacion, Cortes, allegedly collected almost half a million pesos after enticing at least two nurses and a physical therapist to apply for jobs in Florida , USA . FULL STORY

ILIGAN CITY. Electricity was cut to wide areas of the southern Mindanao island before dawn yesterday after suspected Muslim rebels blew up the main power transmission line with crude bombs, army and power company officials said.

On January 6, Aumentado issued the first executive order "Constituting the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Alona Beach Sand Recovery and Shoreline Rehabilitation Project."

The 59-year old Maria G. Castrodes of Sawang Guindulman, Bohol said that in the entire duration of the promo she always made it a habit to drop a bundle of booklets of raffle coupons after a stocky purchase order in Alturas Supermarket, Plaza Marcela and Island City Mall, which amounted to more than a hundred thousand pesos. Czar cleared to fight


Czar Amonsot whose career almost ended when a speck of blood was discovered outside his brain after a bloody brawl with Australia's Michael Katsiidis at the Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on July 21, 2007, has been cleared to fight again.

Inside Sports learned that several tests conducted both in the US where doctors first discovered the speck of blood outside the brain in a routine post-fight examination as well as in the Philippines, have shown that there was no longer any speck of blood. FULL STORY
