Bohol eyes Sichuan sisterhood

 

A hundred children from earthquake-stricken Sichuan province of China showed excitement on getting off the chartered flight of Philippine Airlines at the Tagbilaran City Airport yesterday morning.

Gov. Erico Aumentado led a red carpet welcome at the tarmac of the airport past 10 o'clock yesterday morning which opened the venue for a possible sisterhood pact between the province and Sichuan, China. FULL STORY

MANILA. Retired Supreme Court magistrate Ruben Reyes denied yesterday that he leaked an unofficial decision on a pending election case before the tribunal, which has led to talk of the possible impeachment of Chief Justice Reynato Puno.

Reyes denied leaking his own unpromulgated decision on the petition of Olivia Paras to unseat Negros Oriental Rep. Jocelyn Limkaichong.
