Fifteen
local businessmen were victimized by a syndicate during a fast-break two-and-a-half
months operation in the province.
The
victims included a car dealer, jewelry shops, soft-drinks distributor, beauty
product distributors, computer shops, appliance center including the local office

celebrate yet another TBTK (Tigum Bol-anon sa Tibuok Kalibutan), a once every
four years affair. |
It is an
event to die for, looked forward to again by overseas Boholanos - the day the
curtains fell on the last preceding TBTK affair. It is a reflection of the awesome
Boholano sense of community - often copied by others but never equaled. Then Tourism
Secretary Dick Gordon could only sigh and gushed: oh, if only other provinces
would replicate TBTK.

25 and 26, at the Activity Center at 5:00 o' clock in the afternoon.
Melissa
Ricks is a runner-up in the reality talent search Star Circle Quest of ABS-CBN
in 2004. After the contest, she appeared in the youth-oriented drama SCQ Reload
and variety show ASAP Fanatic. She got her biggest breaks when she portrayed Hiyas
in the fantaserye "Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko," and when she starred
in the primetime drama series, "Iisa Pa Lamang." Melissa also appeared
in movies like "Volta" and "Shake, Rattle and Roll 9," and
is currently starring in a hit afternoon drama, "Kambal sa Uma."
