After
long years of service to the government as public school tutor and devotion to
God, Manuela Cimafranca Bompat finally joined our Creator late Monday afternoon
at age 96.
Since the demise of her loving husband "Nanong" and
son Eugene and wife Exaida, Ma'am Awing as fondly called by her friends peacefully
joined the Lord in her sleep at the Bompat residence along Hontanosas street,
this city. She received the last Sacrament of the church shortly after giving
up her soul to the Lord.
Burial at the Dampas cemetery has been set at
1 p.m. today following a requiem mass at the St. Joseph Cathedral.
Surviving
her is her sons and in-laws: Revocato-Socorro, Stephen-Maida, Richard-Victorina
and only daughter Elvira Sol.

Pama Sodusta, Jr. died last Tuesday at the age of 84.
His remains lie
in state at Funeraria Gomez, this city.
Necrological rites will he held
at Cogon Shrine on April 23, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at Dampas
Catholic Cementery at 12 noon.
The World War II veteran is survived by
wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
To honor the late
Sodusta, a 21 gun salute will reverberate during burial rites.
