City
mayor to face
charges at Ombuds
A new complaint will be filed at the Ombudsman against
Tagbilaran Mayor Dan Lim and key city officials for
refusing to release documents pertaining to financial
transactions and projects of the city government.
Charges
for violations of the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards
for Public Officials and Employees, or Republic Act
6713, will be filed against the city mayor by lawyers
Victor de la Serna, Alexander Lim and Zotico Ochavillo.

Eurika
at Island City Mall

Boholana
child singer Eurika will perform at the Island City
Mall Activity Center, this coming Saturday, November
14, at 5 PM, as part of her series of nationwide album
tour at Ever-Gotesco, SM-Fairview, and Starmall-Alabang.
The
eight-year-old gifted artist is promoting her first
album entitled, "Eurika - Truly a Star in the Making,"
which has 12 songs, many composed and written by topnotch
composers exclusively for her. The CDs are now available
at music stores nationwide, produced and distributed
by Aika Records.

MANILA.
Two rival parties are raiding the ruling Lakas-Kampi-CMD
and its traditional bailiwicks, thus changing the political
terrain ahead of the May 2010 national elections.
The
Liberal Party (LP) seems to be ahead of the Nacionalista
Party (NP) in the raiding mission and is now reassembling
the late former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino's
"yellow army."
