City Hall asked to
release documents

Former OIC Gov. Victor de la Serna demanded from City Hall official documents supporting fund disbursements which he suspects to involve some ghost deliveries amounting to millions of pesos.

In his letter addressed to City Mayor Dan Lim dated Sept. 2, 2009, de la Serna specifically demanded the documents of the questioned P19-million concreting of Gallares Street, the P20-million unliquidated cash advances for 2008 and the particulars of the 22 missing vouchers, not submitted for audit but were already paid by the city treasurer. Health and local officials in Inabanga have declared the outbreak of Influenza A(H1N1) "under control" as close monitoring continue for the resurgence of flu cases in at least six barangays.
