Royal Christian
students win big

Royal Christian School (RCS) students romped medals and recognition during the Junior Students Convention held at Bob Hughes Christian Academy in Cebu city last Feb. 1 and 2. The event ranges from athletics, academics to music.

The categories won: first place, chess, John Christian Bryan C. Velasco; first place, 100-meter dash, Timothy Osmond B. Labella; first place, 4 x 100-meter relay, Mc David Sam E. Caray, Troy Raymond B. Maape, Rey Ryan M. Ediong and Timothy Osmond B. Labella; third place, table tennis, Rey Ryan M. Ediong.

   

While in the platform event, first place, famous speech went to Neil John Mercado; second place, expressive reading, female, Scarlet O. Migrino; second place, illustrative storytelling, male, Lance B. Neslie; second place, illustrative storytelling, female, Scarlet O. Migrino; second place, one act play, Veronica Belle C. Datoy, Lance B. Nesle, Timothy Osmond B. Labella, Lou Joshua M. Tac-an and Elijah Steven B. Cagulada; second place, poetry recitation, male, Elijah Steven B. Cagulada; second place, poetry recitation, female, Shekinah Rose M. Basilad.


In music-instrumental, second place, solo string (plucked), Elijah Steven B. Cagulada; fifth place, musicvocal solo, female, Shekina Rose M. Basilad; sixth place, music vocal duet, female, Scarlet O. Migrino.

In the academics, third place, bible memory, Lance B. Nesle; fourth place, PACE bowl, Lou Joshua M. Tac-an, Scarlet O. Migrino, Rhealin C. Samputon, John Christian Bryan C.
