TO VOTERS
Guidelines
on electing good and responsible candidates in the forthcoming are out to guide
electorate for a responsible candidates. First
and foremost is the competence of the candidates to be elected to office based
on the Pastoral Exhortation on Philippine Politics of 1977. Leadership,
PPCRV said, is not measured by being a good speaker or a bet is popular, if not
he has a lot of educational background but he must be a good servant and sacrifice.
PPCRV
called on the electorate to vote for a good candidate who has shown his "genuine
concern for common good" and not for his own personal interest. And
the "integrity" of a candidate which PPCRV considers is the most important
of all traits of a good and responsible leader. A leader, who has this qualification,
stands firm for what he believes is right based on his principles.
