The biggest eyesore in the city will soon be eradicated after public pulse jived with the plan of the Lim
 administration to convert the unfinished Agora Market into a commercial or business center.

In a survey conducted by HNU Research Center, 49% want the structure to become a commercial complex to be rented by business firms with varied services.

 GMA formally upgrades Panglao

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has formally upgraded the Panglao Airport to Panglao International Airport and designated the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) to fund principally the multi-billion-peso project.

This was announced by Gov. Erico B. Aumentado, chair of the Panglao Island Tourism Estate Task Force (Pite-TF) yesterday.

Aumentado said the President amended Memorandum Order (MO) 178-A series of 2006 for the purpose.

 Boholanos scale Mt. Kinabalu
 

Five Boholanos set foot last April 13 on the summit of Mt. Kinabalu, the highest peak in Southeast Asia located in the lush island of Sabah, Malaysia.

Climbing buddies, Atty. Nerio "Butchie" Zamora II, spouses Allen and Lyne Butalid-Nitollama and Alain and Annalyn "Aj" Jagunos-Flores attempted the seldom allowed fast one-day ascent to the peak of Mt. Kinabalu from Timpohon gate located at the base of the mountain.
