Big
events are in store for everyone today, July 23, as Island City Mall welcomes
all visitors and balikbayan in the celebration of this year's Sandugo Festival
and TBTK 2006.
SANDUGO
REGIONAL PRODUCT SHOWCASE. Witness and experience the ingenuity of the Visayans
in the on-going Sandugo Regional Product Showcase at the lower ground level of
the Island City Mall, featuring top-of-the-line Pinoy products from Bohol, Cebu,
Negros, Siquijor, etc. A total of 90 exhibitors are displaying their wares like
fashion accessories, gifts, toys, housewares, furnitures and fixtures, processed

centerstage at the Activity Center at 4:00 o' clock this afternoon is the "Bisdak
Ripablik" Mall Tour which feature fast-rising diva, Maria Donna, Pear Lyn
and other Bisdak Ripablik artists who popularized the hits "Tahong,""Ukaya
Ko Beh,""Buwad," etc. Maria
Donna is behind the hit, "Pastilan Bai," while Pear Lyn is known for
her novelty song, "Pilo."
Also going on today at the mall is
the Sandugo Regional Product Showcase of the Department of Trade & Industry
at the lower ground |
level,which
features top-of-the-line Pinoy products from Bohol, Cebu, Negros, Siquijor, etc.
A total of 90 exhibitors are displaying their wares like fashion accessories,
gifts, toys, housewares, furnitures and fixtures, processed and ethnic foods and
raw materials.
At
the upper ground level is the Stamp Collection Exhibit by the Bohol Philatelic
Society which will run until today, July 23. Also, early in the afternoon today
is the Island Jammin' with the 5-Star band at the Activity Center.
The
big sale is still going on at Island City Mall with discounts of up to 50% on
great selections at the Home & Fashion Departments, except on appliances,
health and beauty or cosmetics, modiste and record bar sections. |
