City Mall gears up for the Sandugo season with a 3-Day Sale on July 21, 22 and
23, simultaneous in the three stores of Alturas Supermarket, Plaza Marcela, and
Island City Mall.

TRIAS, LUKE MEJARES AT ISLAND CITY MALL. American Idol Jasmine Trias and RnB
sensation Luke Mejares will perform before Boholano fans in "Sandugroove
2" on July 21, 8 PM, at the Island City Mall carpark, featuring Stagecrew
and Next Stage bands, plus a spectacular fireworks display by Dragon Fireworks.
The concert event is presented by Entertainment Concept House, Inc., Island City
Mall, Globe Handyphone, Touch Mobile, Globelines, in cooperation with San Miguel
Beer, Dragon Fireworks, Dunkin Donuts, Ocean Jet, Universal Press, Gesalem Advertising,

Island City Mall is teeming with different events as the mall joins the celebration
of the Sandugo Festival this month. The 3rd Rnb/Hiphop Dance Showdown is still
going on every Saturday, 4 PM, at the Activity Center, with the final showdown
on July 29; while the 2nd "Quest for the Voice" is scheduled every |
Sunday,
4 PM, at the Activity Center, with the monthly finals on July 30.The
"Rumble sa Island City Mall," a boxing event featuring the best and
the finest ring warriors from Butuan City, Surigao, Kidapawan, North Cotabato;
and host Tagbilaran City, thrilled the public last Monday, July 3, at the Carpark.
A
series of Sandugo cultural shows also started last Tuesday, July 4, with the Holy
Name University "The Best of Me" at the Activity Center, and followed
by another presentation of the University of Bohol last Wednesday, July 5, at
the Activity Center. Grace Christian School will hold another cultural night on
July 27, Thursday, 6 PM, at the Activity Center.
On
the evening of July 21 is the "Sandugroove 2" at the Carpark, featuring
American Idol finalist Jasmine Trias & RnB sensation Luke Mejares in concert,
with Stagecrew and Next Stage bands of Cebu. The concert event will be highlighted
by a grand fireworks display of Dragon Fireworks.
Fast-rising
diva Maria Donna and the Bisdak Ripablik artists of Saruja Records and Synergy
Music will have a mall tour at the Activity Center on July 23, Sunday, starting
at 4 PM. Maria Donna is behind the hit "Pastilan Bai." Other top hits
in the Bisdak Ripablik album are "Pilo,""Ukaya Ko Beh,""Tahong,"
etc.
Different
Sandugo exhibits are also set at the mall, starting with the series of CARavan
Display & Exhibit at the lower ground level, as follows: Suzuki (July 6-9),
Isuzu (July 13-16), Mitsubishi (July13-16),Hyundai (July 13-16), and Honda (July
14-16).Other exhibits include the Sandugo Regional Product Showcase of the Department
of Trade & Industry (July 18-23) at the lower ground level; "Stamp Collection"
Exhibit of the Bohol Philatelic Society (July 20-23) at the upper ground level;
and "Kinabuhing Bol-anon" Art Exhibit of the Tagbilaran City Council
for Culture and the Arts (July 24-30) at the upper ground level. |
