of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and the Philippine Drug
Enforcement Agency (PDEA) nabbed a drug pusher operating here in the city in a
buy-bust operation last Thursday, June 08. 
DRUG
SUSPECT. Police operatives forcibly
grab the lady drug suspect identified
as Chery
II Moroscallo who refused to yield the stuff
from her possession
inside Ulrico Hotel, the city.

suspect, identified as Cheryll Moroscallo y Calaguan, 31, who is from Iligan City,
was arrested at a rented room at Hotel Ulrico, this city.
According
to PDEA intelligence reports, Moroscallo was previously reported to be selling
"shabu" in the vicinity of J.A. Clarin Street. She is supposedly one
of the drug runners of Omar Mandangan who is now detained at the City Rehabilitation
Center.
Moroscallo checked-in at the hotel on Wednesday night allegedly
from Cebu City.
The raiding team, led by P/SInsp. Ricarido Flores, seized
3 sachets of the prohibited substance and paraphernalias related to its use and
repacking. |
Cash
in different denominations, including the marked money of two hundred peso bills,
were also recovered on the scene.
The PNP Bohol Crime
Laboratory established that the seized sachets were indeed the illegal substance
methamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu".
Charges
of violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, section
5, article 2, will be filed against Moroscallo for possessing the dangerous drug
and its paraphernalia. |
