Island City Mall celebrates two unbeatable years of changing the Boholanos way of life!

Alturas PR Manager, Loy M. Palapos, said as the mall will mark its second anniversary tomorrow, June 26, different activities had been lined up to add glitter to the celebration, and as a way of thanking the Boholanos who take part in the making of the most-modern shopping destination in Bohol.

One of the highlights of the anniversary is the Midnight Sale last night where shoppers enjoyed big discounts of up to 50% on great selections until 12 midnight. The carpark was also jampacked with partygoers who jammed with

Top local bands 5-Star and Centerstage, and Little Big Star finalists Kathleen Escobedo and Genevieve Abuloc, provided great entertainment as frontacts.

Yesterday was a big day at the mall where a total of 78 well-decorated tricycles, different mascots, mall tenants, employees and customers joined the colorful motorcade around the city streets in the morning. La Tribo drummers and Charmed Drum & Bugle Corps also provided the mall with lively sounds.

Customers also availed of free tricycle rides yesterday afternoon in going to Island City Mall, or from Island City Mall to any parts of the city. A total of 78 tricycles provided libreng plete to all passengers the whole yesterday afternoon.

Other events yesterday were Island Jammin' at the activity center, Fiesta Fever with games galore at the carpark, the first draw of Anniversary Big-aways Raffle Promo at the activity center where lucky customers won fabulous appliances, I-Style Fashion Show which featured the collections of Harley Ruedas at the activity center, and Island Jammin' with Acoustics at the activity center.

Today, June 25, a Jolly Kiddie Fun Day will be held at the Activity Center starting at 9:30 this morning. The free mini amusement park with giant inflatable bounce and slides will continue at the carpark from 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 7 pm, while the first monthly finals of Quest for the Voice will be conducted at the activity center at 3 pm, which will be followed by the second draw of Anniversary Big-aways Raffle Promo at 4 pm at the activity center.

On the anniversary day tomorrow, June 26, the grand draw of Anniversary Big-aways Raffle Promo will be conducted at the activity center starting at 4 pm, followed by Island Jammin' with 5 Star Band and the Anniversary Disco at carpark at 9 pm.
