MANILA.
Oil companies again raised the prices of gasoline and kerosene by 50 centavos
a liter and that of liquefied petroleum gas by 56 centavos a kilogram.
Refiner
Petron Corp. jacked up prices at 6 p.m. yesterday. Eastern Petroleum Corp. will
hike prices at 12 p.m. Sunday. Flying V will implement the same fuel price increases
at 12:01 a.m. tomorrow.
The
oil firms all held off on increasing diesel prices, however, in an effort to help
ease the burden of the public transport sector.
These
new price adjustments bring premium unleaded gasoline prices to between 40.29
pesos and 42 pesos a liter, diesel to between 34.70 pesos and 37.55 pesos a liter,
and kerosene to between 37 pesos and 40.50 pesos a liter.
LPG
prices now range from 442.16 pesos to 491.16 pesos per 11-kilogram cylinder. |
