Manila docs irked on “lousy” service

Top-notch physicians working under the Malacanang medical mission got irked on the lousy service at the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital, venue of the cataract operations which will wrap up today instead of Tuesday.

This development will place the hospital and its officials in hot water after the incident was reported to the Department of Health (DOH) which is expected to send a team to investigate and evaluate the poor services at the government-run regional training hospital.

 City PNP files charges against murder suspect

The Tagbilaran City Police has filed charges on Friday against Christopher Buslon a suspect in the killing of Nelson Pacatang last April 30.

Buslon was nabbed by police authorities last May 30 in barangay Dusita, Sierra-Bullones after receiving a tip from the Bohol Detention and Rehabilitation Center (BDRC) in Cabawan. Buslon was reportedly sighted on several occasions driving a motorcycle with the same description of that which was owned by murder victim Pacatang.

Just Before Deadline....
 Oil prices hiked anew

MANILA. Oil companies again raised the prices of gasoline and kerosene by 50 centavos a liter and that of liquefied petroleum gas by 56 centavos a kilogram.

Refiner Petron Corp. jacked up prices at 6 p.m. yesterday. Eastern Petroleum Corp. will hike prices at 12 p.m. Sunday. Flying V will implement the same fuel price increases at 12:01 a.m. tomorrow.
