vows boost in Bohol tourism By

Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's visit here last Monday ended on a high note as she announced
a fresh infusion of funds for vital projects here in the province in a jam-packed
gymnasium in the town of Lila.
The
president, who was supposed to be accompanied by First Gentleman Mike Arroyo,
arrived on a chartered Learjet from Manila at 9:40 in the morning. FULL

VISIT. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (left photo) troops the line as she
arrives in military honors at the city airport last Monday, for her second visit
in the province this year. The president signs RA 9345 nationalizing the 35-kilometer
stretch of the Panglao Island Circumferential Road. The signing was witnessed
by Gov. Erico Aumentado, Congressmen Edgar Chatto, Eladio Jala and Roberto Cajes
as well as Mayors Leonides Tongco (Loay), Dan Neri Lim (Tagbilaran City), Doloreich
Dumaluan (Panglao), Luciano Bongalos (Dauis), Henrietta Gan (Valencia) and Telesforo
