Let's
pause for some commercial break.
We
received yesterday representatives from McDonald's Charities headed by PR Manager
Zonito Torrevillas.
Their
visit here yesterday was arranged by former newsman now turned PR man Cerwin Eviota
of Cebu City.

Within
the next six years, the Bahay Bulilit program aims to build day care centers all
over the country for children aged six and below for the primary education.
Under
this program, the Department of Social Welfare and Development provides training
and materials for the day centers while the local government unit provides for
the day-to-day operation and monthly expenses.
In
Tagbilaran City, Bahay Bulilit program intends to build a day care center worth
P1.3 million.

In
coordination with City DSWD officer Tessie Villafuerte, we identified to McDonald
Charities at least three possible sites where the day care center will be constructed.
With
the approval of City Mayor Dan Neri Lim and the concurrence of the 9th Sangguniang
Panlungsod, the program intends to have the ground breaking ceremonies next month.
God
willing, a P1.3 million day care center will be inaugurated on Oct. 30 this year
in time for the celebration of the World Children's Day.
Let's
go back to the main stream on Sunday after this commercial break.
Thank
you.
